The external mobility applicant should  be registered on free seats for mobility on the Electronic Portal of the LEPL - National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement students.emis.ge  and only after getting the positive result  he/she is allowed to apply to the University

The external mobility applicant should overcome the competence limit defined for the enrollment in the Faculty they wish to continue education.

Tuition fee for all Georgian for one-Cycle educational and bachelor  educational programmes of Tbilisi State Medical University -  2250 GEL per year - for Georgian citizens.

International Faculty of Medicine and Stomatology:

  • Medical Doctor Program (English Medium) - tuition fee: 8.000 USD per year; 
  • Medical Doctor Program (Russian Medium) - tuition fee: 4.000 USD per year;
  • Dental Medicine Program (English medium) - tuition fee: 7.000 USD  per year; 
  • Dental Medicine Program (Russian Medium) - tuition fee: 4.000 USD  per year.

Faculty of Medicine:

  • US MD  Program   - Tuition fee for International students: 13 500 USD per year, for Georgian Citizens - 8000 GEL per year.
  • Georgian Medium - tuition fee: 4.000  USD  per year (for International students).

Faculty of Stomatology (Dentistry):

  • Georgian Medium - tuition fee: 4.000 USD per year (for International students).

Faculty of Pharmacy:

  • English Medium - tuition fee: 3.500 USD  per year;
Faculty of Public Health: 
  • Public Health and Management - Joint Georgian - French undergraduate program (Georgian Medium and English Medium): tuition fee – 4.000 USD per year (for Georgian Citizens – 4000 GEL).
Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation:
  • English Medium - tuition fee: 3.000 US$ per year.

Only those citizens of Georgia  have a right to study on Bachelor’s and one-cycle educational programmes at Tbilisi State Medical University who completed Unified National Exams in following subjects: 

  • Georgian Language and Literature;
  • Foreign Language;
  • Biology,
  • The fourth optional subject can be selected from the following- , chemistry, physics or mathematics.


Students intending to participate in internal mobility may have to submit an application addressed to the Rector and enclose the document confirming the  obtained  national examination scores (the document is available on the Address:  9, Mindeli Street).

External mobility shall be announced by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia twice a year at the end of semester prior to starting the new semester. 

Yes, the external mobility students will keep their state study grant.

  • Some privileges  are foreseen for socially vulnerable  and/or   displaced students.
