On April 19, 2019, within the “European Immunization Week”, under the auspices of the TSMU student self-government a meeting dedicated to autoimmune diseases was organized. The lecture was delivered by Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Tinatin Chikovani. She talked about the issues of vaccination.

"The urgency of the issue was stipulated by current situation at our country and in the world, as a whole in this direction. At present, due to the high rate of the disease this year, the only way we can stop it, is vaccination of measles and rubeola".
