Folk Singing and Dancing Ensemble of Sports and Arts Center of Tbilisi State Medical University (led by Mr Badri Matchavariani) is on concert tout in Greece. During the tour the ensemble presented a number of concerts and participated in folk festival held in Serres (Greece). Performance of TSMU students raised a great interest and approval. The information regarding TSMU students and interview of ensemble representative Bela Nishnianidze were broadcasted on national radio of Greece. During the festival, TSMU’s students were warmly welcomed by the Representatives of Serres Hospital, TSMU students visited different departments and laboratories of the hospital. It is noteworthy to emphasize that that the organizer of the festival is a well-known folklorist and cardiologist by profession Mr. Giorgio Kutsakis.
