On January 25, 2019, Tbilisi State Medical University organized a campaign to on measures to prevent massive spread of measles in the country. The campaign included raising awareness of population on the virus, implementation of proper habits and encouragement of preventive activities. TSMU volunteer students were involved in vaccination process. According to the organizers, vaccination will be free for everybody in the university clinic. The national vaccination calendar envisages vaccination of 1-5 age group of children. Any contingent with incomplete or no vaccinations with all the necessary information on vaccination and must apply to a medical facilities for vaccination. The TSMU First University Clinic is ready to provide all the necessary assistance to any interested person.
