On May 3, 2019, public lecture “Role of Transcranial Doppler Ultrasonography in Cerebrovascular Disease Treatment” was organized at Tbilisi State Medical University. The lecture was held by Alex Razumovsky, PhD, FAHA, NVS (USA), TCD Consultant, Secretary of NSRG WFN (World Federation of Neurology, Neurosonology Research Group) and Chair of Neurovascular Specialist Examination Committee, American Society for Neuroimaging. Mr. Razumovsky introduced US innovative methods of treatment in cerebrovascular disease. The lecture was interactive and interesting for the audience.
Marina Alphaidze, Assistant Professor of TSMU Radiology Department, Member of the Executive Committee of the Neuroscience Research Group (NSRG WFN) and President of Georgian Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics presented the guest to the audience. Professor Rima Beriashvili, Vice-rector for Research at TSMU, Alexander Tsirekidze, Deputy Rector of TSU and Roman Shakarashvili, Director of P. Sarajishvili Institute of Neurology greeted the audience and thanked the guest for the visit and interesting lecture.
