Under the auspices of the Georgian Medical Students Association (GMSA), Neurosurgery Masterclass  (Spring Semester), led by Edisher Magalashvili, MD., PhD has been started on the base of Tbilisi State Medical University. After completing two steps of selection, top 15 students, selected from hundreds of students, will be trained in basic skills in the field of neurosurgery for three months. It is also noteworthy to mention that at the end of the project (the first week of June) a conference will be held, where participants will make presentations to the audience.They will be awarded the certificates.

The Association will simultaneously organize the masterclass in cardiosurgery, where the students were selected by the same principle. Masterclass will be delivered by Levan Karazanishvili, cardiosurgeon. According to the representatives of the Georgian Medical Students Association (GMSA), such projects will be implemented in future and will offer students another interesting master classes, public lectures or workshops.
