On May 3, 2019 the 5^th Medical Education Conference was organized by TSMU Ivane Tarkhnishvili Students’ Scientific Society at “Blue Hall”, Tbilisi State Medical University. Students from various Georgian Medical Universities participated in the conference. They presented reports about the latest achievements of the medicine and innovative treatment methods. The jury named three best presentations:

1.      “Stem Cell Transplantation for Spinal Cord Injury” – Eliso Sikharulidze, Mariam Elisashvili and Ivane Javakhishvili, TSU 10^th semester students of Medicine;

2.      “Pharmacokinetic Peculiarities during Pregnancy and Lactation” – Mariam Tatanashvili , TSMU 8^th semester student of Pharmacy;

3.      “Latest Achievements in Cardiology” – Giorgi Bokeria, TSU 4^th semester student of Medicine.
