On July 5, 2018, Professor Viktor Rodov, the Agricultural Research Organisation of Israel (ARO) – the Volcani Centre (Bethanagan, Israel), by invitation of Prof. Tamar Sanikidze, Head of the Department of Physics, Biophysics, Biomechanics and Information Technologies of Tbilisi State Medical University and Prof. Irakli Chkhikvishvili, Institute of Medical Biotechnology, delivered the public lecture on “Curcuma xanthorrhiza, as an antimicrobial agent: efficiency, transmission paths, mechanisms of action and its potential use” at the “Blue Hall”, of Tbilisi State Medical University. In collaboration with the Department of Physics, Biophysics, Biomechanics and Information Technologies of Tbilisi State Medical University and TSMU Institute of Medical Biotechnology Professor Viktor Rodov has conducted several international research activities. At present Professor Rodov provides consultations related to the Joint Project for Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.
