International Scientific School and Conference at Tbilisi State Medical University

On June 18, 2018, the International Scientific School and Conference on “Innovative Technologies in Clinical Immunology: From Immunodiagnostics to Personalized Targeted Immunotherapy and Immunorehabilitation” was held at Tbilisi State Medical University. The School-Conference speakers were invited from the United States, Israel and Spain. Two of them - Giorgi Guruli and Manana Kvezereli are graduates of Tbilisi State Medical University.

Manana Kvezereli-Javey – Department of Oncology Diagnostics, Cell Max Life laboratories, San Francisco, USA – “Hope, hype and reality of liquid biopsy”.

Natalia Aptsiauri - Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Immunology, Medical School, University of Granada, Spain – “Tumor heterogeneity and biomarkers: genomic and immunological aspects”.

Eliyahu Magen – Department of Medicine, Clinical Immunology and Allergy Division, Barzilai University Medical Center, Ashkelon, Israel – “CAR T cells: Engineering patients’ immune cells to treat their cancers”.
