On November 3, 2019, the XI Scientific-Practical Conference – “Children and Adolescent Medicine - XI” was held at Tbilisi State Medical University.

The main topic of the conference was the actual issues in pediatrics. This year immunodeficiency became the issue the Conference was focused on. 

The Conference was organized and chaired by Professor Karaman Pagava,MD,Ph.D.  A video-film dedicated to the 70th anniversary of famous Professor was presented at the Conference.   

On November 4, 2018, the final session of the Conference - "First Scientific Conference on Primary Immunodeficiency" was held in Kutaisi.  The sessions were hosted by the hospital "Medical City and Infectious Disease Management Center".

According to Prof. Tinatin Chikovani, Dean of TSMU Faculty of Medicine, that the doctors of West Georgia will have the opportunity to participate in the Conference and listen to Professors is of great importance. 

The Conference on primary immunodeficiency was held with the support of the European Association of Immunodeficiency.
