In 2017, the book "Oncology" (II) was published by the Department of Medicine , State Prize laureate, Doctor of Medicine Irakli Nadiradze. On its front page it is written "Tbilisi State Medical University" and the Georgia-Israeli Clinic "Gidmedi", which will make think a book buyer and a potential reader that this is a guide that was published by the governing units of Tbilisi, so the legal procedure was protected, which requires the publication of the manual.
This procedure is defined by the approved of decree # 24/3 of 23 March 2012 of the TSMU Academic Council in “The Procedure and Criteria for Assessing Educational Programs and Training Literature in the Quality Assurance Service”. As this rule is not preserved, this means that the publisher of the book used the name of the Tbilisi State Medical University without permission.
